Prioritet Finans has invested in Swedish sports for many years. What makes sports such an important arena for your company?
– Sports are one of the few arenas that reach broadly and genuinely engage people – from children and youth to elite athletes and recreational participants. For me, it's largely about the formative role of sports in fostering community, providing role models, and getting more people active. This builds healthy and sound individuals and, ultimately, strong communities. At the same time, we must be clear that a strong commitment to sports also strengthens our brand and our business.
How do you view the value of the partnership with ISP and the clubs and federations you engage with? In what way does it create value for your organization and your brand?
– It provides us with a long-term platform with strong environments and good reach, both locally and nationally. Through ISP, we gain structure, quality, and the opportunity to activate collaborations in a way that creates value, not just visibility. When it's a win-win, both sports and we get better conditions to develop.
You have a strong focus on social commitment. Is there any area within sports that you are particularly passionate about developing or influencing?
– I am particularly passionate about initiatives that lower the barriers to sports for children and young people. It's important that more people get the chance to participate, regardless of background, and that's also where sports can make the biggest difference. Inclusion, equality, creating role models, and a strong club life are areas we are keen to support and drive.
Sports sponsorship is evolving rapidly – with more data, greater demands for activation, and new opportunities. How do you view the future of your involvement in sports, and what trends do you believe will be important going forward?
– There will be an even greater focus on data, measurability, and activation requirements, which is fundamentally positive. However, for us, the long-term perspective is at least as important: that the commitment has a clear 'why' and that together we create real impact – both within the business and in society. The strongest partnerships going forward will be those that combine clear goals with genuine commitment.
