”We are visible where our service is actually used”

Joakim Held, CEO of Mobill AB, explains why sports is a natural platform for building Mobill's brand. Through the collaboration with ISP Sport & Marketing, Mobill can reach people in real-world user situations, from matches and training sessions to events where parking and mobility become a natural part of the experience.

What made you choose to collaborate with ISP and sports as part of how you build and strengthen Mobill's brand?
– We genuinely appreciate sports and community involvement. It creates community, security, and role models, especially for children and young people. Through ISP, we have found collaborations that suit us well, including with DIF Football, IFK Göteborg, IK Kungälv, Team Eksjöhus, SM Week, and the World Cup in Falun. We want Mobill to be associated with a good cause, where young people have positive activities and where there's a healthy winning culture. And it should happen on equal terms for both girls and boys, as well as representative teams for both women and men.

How has the collaboration with ISP – through matches, arenas, and activations – helped you reach people in situations where your service is actually used?
– Our service is used when people are on their way somewhere. To a match, training, event, or other activity. They drive, need to park, sometimes charge their electric car, and want to quickly move on. Through our collaborations, we reach people precisely in those situations. We can remind them about Mobill Parking, show how easy it is to get started, and connect the service to a positive experience around sports and community activities.

In what way have sports and ISP's platforms contributed to making your offering more understandable and relevant for the end-user?
– Sports makes everything very tangible. You arrive by car, look for parking, want to get into the arena or to the competition. Then it's easy to understand the benefit of Mobill. Here and now, you can sort out your parking on your phone, without any hassle. This makes our offering more understandable, more relatable to everyday life, and more relevant for the user.

If you compare with other marketing channels – what do ISP and sports platforms give you that you don't get anywhere else?
– Here, we get both a sense of connection and real-world user situations at the same time. Other channels provide reach, but through sports, we also get community involvement, youth, activity, local engagement, and a winning culture as a bonus. We are visible where our service is actually used and become associated with something positive for both people and society. This creates a warmer and more personal relationship with Mobill than more traditional marketing.
